These terms apply to services purchased from CartScholar, the trading name of Darpan Patel, through cartscholar.com. By purchasing, you agree to them.
The service
The Shopify Store Audit is a one-time technical review of your online store, priced at USD 149. It covers key customer journeys and representative pages on mobile and desktop, and includes a prioritised written report, a walkthrough video, tracking and analytics checks, and a recommended fix plan.
The audit is performed from your public storefront and does not require access to your store’s admin area. Anything that can only be confirmed inside your admin is flagged as worth checking rather than assumed.
Delivery
We begin your audit within one business day of receiving your store URL and details, and deliver the completed report within 48 hours of receiving those details. Where we need further information from you to proceed, that turnaround begins when you provide it.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that you own the store you ask us to audit, or that you are authorised to request a review of it. You agree to provide accurate details and to tell us about anything that would prevent testing, such as password protection or geographic restrictions.
What the audit is, and what it is not
The audit reports issues we identify at the time of testing and recommends fixes. It is a professional assessment, not a guarantee. We do not promise any particular increase in sales, conversions, traffic, search rankings or revenue, and nothing on our website should be read as such a promise.
A store can change after testing through theme updates, app installations or third-party changes. Findings reflect the store as tested on the date of the audit.
The USD 149 credit
If you choose CartScholar to implement the recommended fixes, your USD 149 audit fee is credited in full against that development work. The credit applies to eligible development work quoted by us. It is not redeemable for cash, not transferable, and not combinable with other offers. You are free to purchase the audit on its own and take the report elsewhere.
Ownership and use of the report
Once paid for, the report is yours to use within your business, including sharing it with your own developers or agency. You may not resell it, publish it commercially, or present it as your own work product.
Payment
Prices are shown in USD and are payable in advance through our payment provider. The payment provider’s own terms apply to the transaction. Taxes are handled in accordance with Indian law, and services exported outside India are treated as zero-rated where the applicable conditions are met.
Refunds
See our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost sales.
We do not modify your store as part of the audit. If you implement recommendations yourself or through a third party, you are responsible for testing them and for any resulting changes to your store.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Valsad have exclusive jurisdiction.
