This policy explains what CartScholar collects when you use cartscholar.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have. CartScholar is the trading name of Darpan Patel. You can reach us at hello@cartscholar.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Your name, email address, website or store URL, and anything you type into our enquiry or order forms
- Correspondence you send us by email
Information collected automatically
- Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring page
- Analytics and advertising data through cookies and similar technologies, where enabled (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel)
Payment information
We do not collect or store your card details. Payments are processed by our payment providers, who handle card data under their own privacy policies and security standards. We receive only confirmation of payment and basic order details such as your name, email and the amount paid.
Why we use it
- To deliver the service you purchased, including performing your audit and sending your report
- To reply to enquiries
- To send service messages about your order
- To measure how our website and advertising perform
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations in India
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails to people who have not asked for them.
Your store and audit data
When you purchase an audit we test your store from the public storefront, exactly as any customer would see it. We do not require or request access to your store’s admin area. If you later hire us for implementation work and choose to grant staff access, that access is covered by a separate agreement and you can revoke it at any time.
Your audit report is yours. We do not publish it, share it, or identify your store publicly without your written permission.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers who help us operate, each handling data under their own terms: payment processors, email and form providers, analytics and advertising platforms, and our accountant for tax compliance. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Some of these providers operate outside India, so your information may be processed abroad.
Cookies
We use cookies for basic site function, analytics, and advertising measurement where those tools are enabled. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but our analytics will not count your visit.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and customer records for as long as needed to provide the service and to satisfy Indian tax and accounting requirements, then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in the UK or EU, you also have rights to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Email hello@cartscholar.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children.
Changes
We may update this policy. The revision date at the top always shows the current version.
